Iranian film fans attend late actor Hassan Joharchi funeral

Crowds of Iranian film fans attended the funeral for the late actor Hassan Joharchi.

A large number of Iranian film fans have attended the funeral held for Hassan Joharchi to farewell the late actor.

The funeral was held in presence of a number of film officials, filmmakers, and actors on February 5.

Joharchi passed away at the age of 48 after suffering a heart stroke in the Iranian capital city of Tehran on Friday, February 3.

Born in 1969 in Tehran, he held a BA in Theater.

The star made his cinematic debut with ‘Elephant in the Dark’ in 1989, but found nationwide fame with the series ‘Under Your Protection’ in 1995.

He acted in movies such as ‘On the Wings of Angels’, ‘Banquet’, ‘Bitter Almonds’, ‘Two Women’, ‘Mr. President’, and ‘A Girl Named Tondar’.

Joharchi established himself as a star of the small screen with the series ‘It Was an Angel’ in 2006.

He also appeared in a number of series, including ‘The Young Lawyers’, ‘Like a Stranger’, ‘Love’s Homework’, ‘Cocoons of Flight’, ‘Factor 8’, ‘Worlds Apart’, ‘Mirage’, ‘The White Nights’, and ‘Leila’s Loneliness’.
